We've obtained a copy of the application that needs to be printed, filled out, and sent to the Allegheny County Agency on Aging.
Eligibility requirements are on the first page. Hopefully this helps someone who was unable to go in person to the one-day distribution event.
We hope that in the future this process is more streamlined, and have been in contact with the county, state, distribution sites, as well as our local legislators to try to make the program more accessible.
Of course, we accept the farmers market checks, but there are plenty of other options available - an interactive map can be found here:
Here's a direct copy of the application document that you can print and send in yourself. These are also supposed to be available at your local area aging location. We'll have a few printed out at the farm also.
